You will feel as though you are taking a step back in time as you enter this historic cabin in a beautiful alpine setting, but know you will be greeted with all of the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Featuring a large master bedroom with one queen bed, a twin bed, a lovely sitting area and artists corner, one smaller bedroom with a twin bed, and an additional sleeping area, this home comfortably sleeps five. There are two bathrooms and a laundry room. There is a covered outdoor seating area and a wraparound deck from which you can breathe in the fresh air, view abundant wildlife and native birds, take in the mountain views, and feel as though you are a part of the wilderness. Watching storms coming and going over the mountains and the sun rising and setting on majestic Longs Peak will be experiences you won`t forget. Additionally, a croquet court lit by lanterns and a wonderful natural stone picnic area are perfect for family fun! The summer time in Estes Park is extremely busy; traffic congestion can make getting around challenging. The Town offers a free shuttle and there are shuttle stops all over town. You can use the free shuttle to get to town as well as Rocky Mountain National Park through the visitors center. In the Winter, the town is much slower and the shuttle does not run; a car would definitely help.
